The presented experimental results demonstrate that microwave pulses of giant amplitude are generated in a klystron generator operating in the self-excited mode of chaotic oscillations. The auto-oscillator is assembled using a noisetron scheme that contains two five-cavity floating-drift klystrons serially connected in a ring, one of which operates in the mode of linear signal amplification (the linear...
The chaotic UWB RF transceiver system is designed in CMOS 0.18 m technology with flexible chaotic signal generation. Although the chaotic UWB technology is expected as a promising solution for near-range connectivity services, it has a limitation for commercial applications due to a fixed-band chaotic signal generator. In this paper, the noble flexible chaotic signal generator with adjustable frequency...
A nonlinear switched-capacitor circuit that generates chaotic signals is reported. The circuit is described by a first-order piecewise-linear discrete equation that exhibits a chaotic dynamics. Experimental results illustrating the circuit performance and its use as a noise generator are included.
