TiO 2 -doped vanadium dioxide films have been deposited from vanadium oxo-alkoxide solutions. VO 2 thin films of good optical quality are obtained after heating at 500°C under a reducing atmosphere. These films exhibit highly reversible electrical and optical switching around 70°C. A hysteresis phenomenon is observed, but V 1-x Ti x O 2 films do not...
Cobalt oxide thin films were prepared by the spray pyrolysis method on amorphous glass substrates kept at 300°C. The films formed were uniform, pin-hole free, and strongly adherent to the substrates. The X-ray diffraction studies revealed that the films consist of Co 3 O 4 oxide phase. The optical and the electrical properties of the film were also studied.
