Lithium‐Ion Batteries
The effect of silicon particle size on its physical, chemical, and mechanochemical behaviors has been benchmarked via multiple lab‐ and synchrotron‐based characterizations. The significant differences caused by particle size in the composition transition, structure transition, particle pulverization, electrode expansion, and surface chemistry, are strongly related to their electrochemical variations.
