A novel all‐solution processing method for the fabrication of graphene (reduced graphene oxide, r‐GO) based devices is presented by Lanche et al. (pp. 968–974). As sensor platform, interdigitated gold electrodes forming microarray structures on glass and Si/SiO2 substrates are used. GO is site specifi cally deposited onto the microelectrode arrays by dielectrophoresis followed by an environmentally benign solution‐based reduction of graphene oxide with L‐ascorbic acid. In order to test the reduction process and the r‐GO sensor's performance, impedance spectroscopy was used. The optimized all‐solution processed fabrication provides an attractive fabrication route for robust r‐GO microarray devices in a fl exible, scalable and cost‐effective approach.
