The sophisticated design illustrates intricacies in the integrated network of various “omics” in aging research. A pre‐dominantly “grey” outlook emphasises a “greying” population. DNA molecules configured as an “X” about the word “AGING” signifies the central intent to mitigate biological aging consequences. The “I” in “AGING” assumes the shape of an hourglass – portraying its effect overtime. Amidst a “greying” impression, the steely, spiral patterns imply “longevity”; synonymous also to the way a DNA molecule is “infinitely” fashioned (∞). Further information about the special issue “Aging” can be found in the Editorial by Maxey C. M. Chung and Brian K. Kennedy, article 1800336.
