Dans cette étude, les effets des oreillers à eau de couleur noire et bleue sur le rendement des aubergines et la productivité de l'utilisation de l'eau ont été étudiés dans des conditions de serre dans la région semi‐aride de Turquie. Il y avait cinq traitements d'irrigation différents à savoir; oreillers à eau noirs (BLACKWP), paillage noir + goutte à goutte (BLACKM + D), oreillers à eau bleus (BLUEWP), paillage bleu + goutte à goutte (BLUEM + D) et irrigation goutte à goutte (DI) sans paillage. Le rendement à l'hectare, le rendement par plante, le nombre de fruits par plante, le nombre de fruits par unité de surface (m2) et la consommation saisonnière d'eau ont été étudiés. Les rendements des traitements BLACKWP, BLUEWP, BLACKM + D, BLUEM + D et DI ont été mesurés respectivement à 1040, 1030, 1150, 107 et 76.2 t ha−1. Les consommations saisonnières en eau des traitements BLACKWP et BLUEWP et des traitements BLACKM + D et BLUEM + D étaient respectivement de 19 et 16% inférieures à celles du traitement DI. La productivité de l'eau d'irrigation des traitements BLACKWP, BLUEWP, BLACKM + D et BLUEM + D était respectivement 40, 39, 44 et 40% supérieure à celle du traitement DI. Le rendement des traitements BLACKWP, BLUEWP, BLACKM + D et BLUEM + D était respectivement 26, 26, 34 et 29% supérieur à celui du traitement DI. Les coussins à eau noirs et bleus, le paillage noir et bleu + les irrigations au goutte‐à‐goutte avaient des rendements et des rendements d'efficacité de l'eau bien plus élevés que les irrigations au goutte‐à‐goutte sans paillage. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
