Dans cette étude, les auteurs examinent le facteur qui stimule la valeur en utilisation des consommateurs en s'appuyant sur le cadre de valeur — capacité d'intégration et ressources — et en adoptant le point de vue basé sur les ressources et le point de vue basé sur les capacités. Ils analysent la manière dont les ressources des entreprises et les ressources des consommateurs influencent la valeur en utilisation individuelle et collective à travers les mécanismes de causalité de la capacité d'intégration des ressources et de la capacité d'intégration des relations. L’étude est basée sur une enquête menée auprès de 511 personnes résidant dans la région de Taipei et repose sur un modèle d’équation structurelle permettant d'examiner huit hypothèses. Les résultats montrent que les ressources des consommateurs ont un impact positif sur la capacité d'intégration des relations. De même, la capacité d'intégration des relations a un impact principalement positif sur la valeur en utilisation collective.
