L'adoption de variétés améliorées, comme les variétés résistantes à la sécheresse, joue un rôle remarquable dans la lutte contre les changements climatiques. Dans cette étude, en utilisant les données obtenues des populations ruraux chinois, nous avons cherché comment et dans quelle mesure les interactions spatiales entre les agriculteurs et les agriculteurs voisins ont affecté sur l'adoption de variétés de blé résistant à la sécheresse (VBRs). Le modèle spatial Durbin probit est utilisé pour identifier le mode spatial dans le processus d'adoption de VBRs. Les résultats montrent qu'il existe une dépendance spatiale dans le processus d'adoption de VBRs. La dépendance spatiale est positivement corrélé avec la décision d'adoption de VBRs par les agriculteurs de blé, et l'effet spatial vient principalement de la décision d'adoption des agriculteurs voisins et des informations par l'utilisation de téléphones intelligents et les contacts des services de promotion. L'analyse plus approfondie a montré que l'utilisation de VBRs peut améliorer de façon remarquable le volume de production du blé et le revenu agricole, ce qui améliore la performance de ferme. Nos résultats de recherche met l'accent sur la nécessité de tenir compte des interactions spatiales entre les agriculteurs lors de la conception et de la promotion de technologies agricoles innovantes dans les zones rurales.
