Cover Picture. As one of the well‐known species in the genus Euphorbia (Euphorbiaceae), the seeds of Euphorbia lathyris have long been used in folk medicine to treat hydropsy, ascites, constipation, amenorrhea, and scabies. Up to now, the seeds of E. lathyris contains many diterpenoids which have shown significant cytotoxicity toward cancer cells. In our continuing investigation on bioactivity diterpenoids, we are interested in the chemical components of E. lathyris. Herein, a new premyrsinane‐type diterpenoid premylanin, four new lathyrane‐type diterpenoids Euphorbia Factors L30 – L33 and thirteen known compounds were isolated from seeds of E. lathyris. Furthermore, cytotoxicity of the parts of isolated compounds against HCT116, MCF‐7, 786‐0, HepG2 cell lines were evaluated, and Euphorbia Factors L24 exhibited considerable cytotoxic activities with an IC50 values of 6.44, 8.43, 15.3, 9.32 μM, respectively, as reported by Wang et al. in their full paper at https://doi.org/10.1002/cbdv.201800386.
