Cover Picture. The plants Ervatamia pandacaqui are mainly distributed in southern Taiwan province, which are used for the treatment of stomach ache, headache and hypertension in Chinese folk medicine. Three new monoterpenoid indole alkaloids, ervapandine A, (3R)‐hydroxyibogaine, 12‐hydroxyakuammicine N(4)‐oxide, and four known compounds were isolated from the leaves and twigs of E. pandacaqui. Ervapandine A represents the first example of iboga‐type alkaloid linked with a glucose unit. One known compound showed moderate cytotoxic activity against MCF‐7 cell lines with IC50 value of 33.61 μM, as reported by Jian Zhang, Yun‐Lin Ao et al. in their full paper at https://doi.org/10.1002/cbdv.201800268.
