This chapter provides guidance to possible treatment plans for specific conditions in dogs. Every case is different and will require a subjective (history), objective (clinical findings), analysis and identification of problems and drawing up of an individual plan (SOAP). The plan will change as the patient progresses through the recovery phases, and hence frequent reviews are vital. Shoulder tendinopathies usually have an insidious onset and can occur together or individually. They are often present in medial shoulder instability. The chapter presents treatment plans for supraspinatus tendinopathy, biceps tendinopathy, medial shoulder instability, fragmented coronoid process, hyperextension injury and pancarpal arthrodesis. Treatment plans are also given for hip dysplasia, femoral head osteotomy (FHO), total hip replacement (THR), gracilis myopathy, cranial cruciate ligament rupture, medial patella luxation, achilles tendinopathy, skipping small terrier‐type dog and osteoarthritis.
