In this chapter, we explore the notion of clock‐time versus psychological time and apply it towards understanding and reconstruing the self in the context of exploring personal and professional development and lifelong meaning‐making. Drawing on Kelly's work, LifeMapping™ involves having participants identify ten critical events fr0m their educational or personal life and writing about the event as it occurred, what it means now, and what it will likely mean in the future. LifeMapping™, drawing as it does on Kelly's notion of person as scientist, provides a means of accessing the inner self and revisiting interpretation of life events towards (re)construing one's future.
