We present the case of an employed mother, aged 47, inflicted with chronic fatigue syndrome and treatment-resistant CS-syndrome, which emerged as symptoms of a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and panic disorder on inpatient admission to our hospital. The case stated is meant to communicate the option of interaction of TCM-phyto therapy and trauma therapy within the overall concept of Silima Clinic. After five weeks of inpatient stay, which had allowed initial confrontation with the trauma, the patient experienced no more than sporadic PTSD-symptoms. Even those vanished completely following further sessions of trauma confrontation held in our day-care clinic. This process was accompanied by TCM-phyto therapy.
