Im vorliegenden Fall wird das Langzeit-Follow-up 6 Jahre nach seltener Verletzung infolge eines stumpfen Bauchtraumas im Kindesalter und stattgefundener Versorgung dargestellt. Eine traumatisch bedingte Transsektion der A. iliaca communis rechts bei erhaltenem Adventitiaschlauch wurde mittels kombinierter direkter Naht und Venenpatchplastik versorgt. Da eine derartige Verletzung eine Rarität darstellt, herrscht in der Literatur zwar vermeintlich Einigkeit über die Wahl des Nahtmaterials, jedoch keine über die Nahttechnik und den Einsatz von Venenpatch- oder Graftplastiken. Da der Knabe mit 180 cm Körpergröße ausgewachsen war, stellt die hier aufgezeigte Versorgungstechnik auch in der Langzeit-Follow-up-Untersuchung mittels MR-Angiographie eine vielversprechende, stenosefreie Methode dar.
