Kinaseinhibitoren zählen mittlerweile zu den wichtigsten Medikamenten der gerichteten Therapie und finden insbesondere in der Krebstherapie unterschiedlicher Tumorentitäten Einsatz. Da viele Kinaseinhibitoren verschiedene Tyrosinkinasen zwar effizient, jedoch nicht spezifisch hemmen, zeichnen sie sich häufig durch ihren vielseitigen Einsatz in den verschiedensten Entitäten und Erkrankungen aus. Der vielfältige Einsatz dieser Medikamentengruppe, aber auch die Herausforderungen ihres Nebenwirkungsprofils machen Kinaseinhibitoren weiterhin zum Gegenstand zahlreicher klinischer Studien. Der vorliegende Beitrag bietet einen Überblick über einige aktuelle Neuzulassungen auf dem Feld der Kinaseinhibitoren und zeigt ihre Bedeutung für die onkologische Therapie auf.
