Produkt- und Alltagstechnik
Die Produkt- und Alltagstechnik wird über den Allokationsmechanismus des Marktes gesteuert. Jemand kann ein technisches Produkt kaufen oder auch nicht. Wenn es Konflikte gibt, dann geht es meistens um Haftung und Qualität oder in einigen wenigen Fällen um externe Effekte des Konsums auf Dritte.
Im Bereich der Produkt- und Alltagstechnik gibt es in Deutschland keine Akzeptanzkrise. Es gibt kaum ein Land, das so üppig mit technischen Geräten im Haushalt ausgestattet ist wie die Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Nur wenige Stimmen erheben sich gegen den Gebrauch von Kühlschränken, Staubsauger, Handys, Computern oder Sportgeräten, obwohl auch diese Produkte negative Nebenwirkungen und Risiken zeitigen können.
