The thesis comprehensively discusses the types of Chinese extreme climate disasters as well as their influence on agriculture, forestry and stockbreeding. With the worsening of green house effect, extreme climate events happen more frequently in more types, with the loss increasing, which greatly restrains Chinese economic development. On the basis of different types of meteorological disasters and their damages to agriculture, forestry and stockbreeding, Chinese local meteorological departments have undertaken overall, multi-level and multi-field services with excellent effects. At the last part of the thesis, new thoughts on future services are proposed to solve problems in agricultural meteorological services of extreme climate events at present.
