By using the continuation theorem of Mawhins coincidence degree theory, a sufficient condition is derived for the existence of positive periodic solutions for a distributed delay competition model [MATHEMATICAL FORMULA] , where r1 and r2 are continuous -periodic functions in R+ = [0,) with [MATHEMATICAL FORMULA] are positive continuous -periodic functions in R+ = [0,), bi (i = 1, 2) is nonnegative continuous -periodic function in R+ = [0,), and T are positive constants, [MATHEMATICAL FORMULA] and [MATHEMATICAL FORMULA] . Some known results are improved and extended.
