The Rorschach, Comprehensive System, was administered to 236 school students over a six-year period. The purpose of this report is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Rorschach Comprehensive System as an instrument that can aid school psychologists in the identification of students with serious emotional disturbance, and assist in making recommendations for educational planning and further evaluation. In this descriptive study, Rorschach data indicate significant scores in the sample with 31% on the Schizophrenic Index, 27% with Depression, 54% on the Coping Deficit Index, nearly 9% with Hypervigilant Problems, and 3% with Suicidal Ideation. Recommendations included utilizing the Rorschach as a regular assessment tool for the assessment of students for whom emotional disturbance is a suspected disability.
