Abstract Pulmonary angioplasty was successfully performed in two patients using the vascular clip system (VCS). The portion of the pulmonary artery which was directly invaded by primary lung cancer was partially resected. The VCS was used to quickly and easily repair the vascular defect. No bleeding was noted from the clipped vascular walls. Both patients had uneventful recoveries.
