The Technische Universität München (TUM) offers a new high-level graduate program that results in the degree Master of Science in Communications Engineering (MSCE). This pilot program is designed for international students and, thus, is taught entirely in English. It has a duration of two years, including a ten-week internship in a German company and a six-month research period for the completion of the master thesis. In this contribution, we will show the results of a three year experience with this program, focusing on recruiting and selection procedures, international university marketing, flexible management, cooperation with industry partners and multicultural learning environments. At the moment 57 students from 20 different countries participate in the program. We believe that our MSCE graduates-being acquainted with the German culture and having enjoyed a close relationship with German industry in this field — are well equipped for leading positions in globally operating companies in their home countries and worldwide.
