Ein 35-jhriger Patient wurde mit einem Kammerersatzrhythmus von 27/min bei AV-Block III. Grades notfallmig auf unsere Intensivstation aufgenommen und mit einem passageren Schrittmacher versorgt. Bei klinischem Verdacht auf eine Borreliose wurde unverzglich eine Therapie mit Cefotaxim begonnen. Die Diagnose Lyme-Borreliose wurde am nchsten Tag durch Nachweis eines deutlich erhhten Borrelien-IgM-Titers besttigt. Innerhalb der nchsten 9 Tage kam es unter antibiotischer Therapie zu einer Normalisierung der AV-berleitung, und der Patient konnte 2 Wochen nach stationrer Aufnahme mit stabilem Sinusrhythmus und normaler AV-berleitung ohne permanenten Schrittmacher entlassen werden.
