Résumé
Les fractures de contrainte sont des lésions osseuses survenant sans notion de traumatisme ni anomalie focale osseuse. Leur diagnostic précoce repose actuellement sur la scintigraphie osseuse et l’IRM, techniques coûteuses et peu accessibles. Nous rapportons trois cas de fracture de fatigue métatarsienne diagnostiquées par échographie ostéo-articulaire et confirmées par IRM. Facile d’accès et peu coûteuse, l’échographie ostéo-articulaire apparaît être une excellente méthode de diagnostic précoce des fractures de fatigue métatarsienne, en complément de la clinique et de la radiographie standard. Une étude prospective versus gold standard reste à mener pour tester la sensibilité et la spécificité de cette prometteuse méthode.
