Conclusion
In this paper, a new method for controlling the amplitude and frequency of the sinusoidal output voltages from the PWM inverter has been presented. By using modulating waves of constant amplitudes on angles of tt/3, the following advantages can be obtained:
—Reducing the switchings number in the PWM inverter by 33%;
—The fundamental amplitude of the output line voltage can reach a maximum value equal to the 1.1027 · Vd voltage;
—The proposed version can be matched better to digital methods for the control of three-phase inverters as compared to the classical versions based on the addition of certain components on the 3rd harmonic.
