This paper describes a prototype of a LTCC microwave-microfluidic reactor, which was built to test a possibility of accelerating chemical reactions. The authors put their focus on conditions that must be met to assure reliable assessment of power that is delivered to the reactor, and which is used to stimulate a chemical reaction.
In this paper results of investigations of the influence of measurement conditions on the accuracy of material characterization in sub-THz range were presented. Different fabrication issues as well as metrological aspects were taken into account. Studies were focused on LTCC materials as emerging technology that can be used in developing of multilayer sub-terahertz devices. Simulation and experimental...
This contribution provides a new design methodology to implement a dispersive delay line with active elements using a distributed structure. The concept of using CRLH and D-CRLH models in a distributed transversal filter is analyzed. A demonstrator using a filtering network as D-CRLH topology is proposed in order to obtain an active dispersive delay line in GaN technology. The MMIC operates in X-band...
Classical Series-Shunt and T-shape SPDTs provide an isolation degrading in frequency which, to be adequately counteracted, may require high-value (and, therefore, large-size) resonating inductors. In this contribution, a resistive bias network is added to a T-shape SPDT instead of introducing inductors. A derived analytical description evidences that the maximum isolation can be shifted in frequency...
