This paper proposes an endoscopic probe for optical coherence tomography (OCT) applying on side-imaging of internal organs. The probe consists of single-mode fiber, a gradient-index (GRIN) lens, and a mirror of cylindrical wedge shape attaching to a magnetized metal piece by epoxy with a short steel wire. For OCT scanning, we use magnetic field generated by a larger magnet externally to drive the...
RWCA planning problem for MCF networks with MIMO-based crosstalk suppression is studied and its ILP model is established. Numerical results show that by using MIMO technology, number of accepted traffics and resource utilization in MCF networks can be increased.
We demonstrated 100 km transmission by self-clocking concept and optical phase conjugation in a quantum-dot semiconductor optical amplifier and achieved error-free operation with less than 2.5 dB power penalty to the back-to-back signal.
With advanced modulation, 100-Gb/s systems over 100s of kilometers based on directly-modulated single-model VCSELs are achieved using coherent detection, and an 115-Gb/s line-rate short-reach system based on a single VCSEL is demonstrated using direct detection.
