We theoretically and experimentally show that fiber-optic analogues of event horizons can be explained by cascaded four-wave mixing of monochromatic continuous waves. Experiments performed with pulsed and continuous wave lasers are in excellent agreement.
We present two-color pump-probe spectra of excitons and trions in monolayer MoSe2. Isolated spectral cross-peaks reveal coherent exciton-trion coupling due to many-body interactions. Density matrix calculations suggest the formation of a correlated exciton-trion state.
