In this paper is presented a synchronous reference frame control strategy for single-phase active power filter. The presented system is based on a selective harmonic elimination approach and allows for the fundamental reactive power compensation and harmonic elimination. The control system is carried out on a synchronous frame, which brings robustness and simplicity to the whole system.
