This paper suggests Petri nets as a mathematical and graphical tool for modeling an industrial oil producing station. It enhances the bottom-up methodology for modeling such stations. It also employs the MATLAB-based PN-tool and the concepts of Petri nets to analysis the developed model that has continuous and discrete activities.
