Based on Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, this paper proposes a novel impulsive control scheme for time-delay chaotic systems based on their Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. Some sufficient conditions are given to stabilize the T-S fuzzy model with time delay. The proposed control scheme is successfully applied to stabilize a time-delay Chuapsilas circuit.
The global issues of the equilibrium points of neural networks (NNs) of neutral type with time-varying delay is investigated in this paper. Novel delay-dependent exponential stability criteria is established by employing free weighting metrics technology, Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theorem and linear matrix inequalities (LMI) technique. Two examples with numerical simulation are given to illustrate...
Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model provides an effective representation of complex nonlinear systems in terms of fuzzy sets and fuzzy reasoning applied to a set of linear input/output submodels. In this paper, the passivity and feedback passification of discrete-time fuzzy systems with parametric uncertainties are investigated. The passivity condition and the state feedback passification design can be...
In this paper the stability analysis and design are presented for amplifier-based CMOS analog signal and information processing cells. By analyzing the influence of dominant pole of feedback path on the frequency response of feedback circuits, several design criteria are proposed to keep amplifier-based CMOS analog processing cells stable such as divider and square root. Moreover, several methods...
This paper addresses the stability and stabilization problem of a class of discrete-time linear systems with delays, under positivity restriction. A controller is designed for guaranteeing asymptotical stability and positivity of the resulted closed-loop systems. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of such a controller proposed in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities...
The robust stability of Lurpsilae system with time-varying delay and time-varying parametric uncertainties is considered in this letter. The stability condition is given in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.
This paper addresses the passivity problem of T-S fuzzy-model-based switched systems with time-varying delay and uncertainties. By using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method, together with linear matrix inequality approach, the authors first establish the passivity conditions for such class of switched nonlinear systems. These results are easy to be verified and are applicable to any smooth continuous-time...
This paper addresses the bounded control of positive systems, both continuous- and discrete-time ones. The control is under boundedness constraint, which means that both the input and the states of the closed-loop system are bounded and positive (the original systems are not necessarily positive). The main contribution lies in two aspects. First, a necessary and sufficient condition is provided for...
