This paper describes the relations among anisotropic field(Hk), sheet resistance (Rs) and power losses in Co-Pd-B-O nano-granular films with various compositions and discuss the mechanism of the noise suppression effect in the case of magnetic thin films. Results demonstrate suitable nano-granular magnetic thin films useful for a noise suppressor in semi-microwave bands.
The objective of this work was to address this question through temperature and frequency dependence measurements of the FMR linewidth for a range of xN values that span the structural transition point. The linewidth data, as well as static magnetization data, show clear changes at xN =7 at.%. Taken collectively, these results indicate that the change in the loss is structure related. The FMR measurements...
The domain wall dynamics during magnetization reversal process of glass-coated amorphous Fe77.5Si7.5B15 bistable microwire was considered. Its domain structure deriving from the magnetoelastic and shape anisotropies consists of an axial single domain and two closure domain structures at the ends, plus an outer radial-helical shell in its surface. This articles report the measured domain wall velocities,...
Amorphous Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si15.5B7 ribbons that are 2 mm wide and 20 mum thick were prepared by the continuous stress annealing-Joule heating (CSA-JH) method in air under tensile stresses of 50 to 175 MPa. Processing parameters such as the supplied current density and the moving velocity were varied. The ribbons were annealed at various conditions, and the relationship between the developed anisotropy...
The aim of this paper is to investigate FeCuSiBNb nanocrystalline microwires as an alternative to amorphous Co-based high-permeability microwires. The anisotropy is determined through static characterization from 20degC to 250degC using a VSM (Vibrating Sample Magnetometer). The properties are comparable in term of softness, but are superior in terms of saturation magnetostriction and thermal stability...
Ferrite/polymer composites were prepared by mixing ferrite powders with epoxy resin. The powders are W-type barium ferrites BaCoxZn2-xFe16O27 (x=1.0, 1.3 and 1.5) doped with V2O5 of 0-1.5 wt%. X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy (EXAFS), scanning electron microscope (SEM), electric resistivity, static and high-frequency...
We used a simple method based on fast magnetostatic computations in order to analyse proximity effects in integrated devices with high permeability magnetic material. This method was applied to various micro-inductors and showed good agreement with experiment. These results enlighten the importance of the proximity effect contribution on the total losses of integrated magnetic devices and demonstrated...
5.6?5.6?0.5mm3 integrated toroidal inductors with high L/RDC ratio have been fabricated on Si substrates with microelectronics tools. The realization features thick layer Cu and Ni80Fe20 technologies. Impedance measurements have been performed up to 100MHz. As a typical result, we show an inductor with L500nH up to 10MHz, RDC110m?. To our knowledge, it is the best compromise shown so far. This demonstrates...
