This paper presents a novel design of leaky wave antenna based on composite right/left handed (CRLH) substrate integrated waveguide (SIW). The design uses the space filling property of Hilbert fractal slot to realize the CRLH response. The slot dimensions are designed in such a way that both the left hand and right hand band operate well below the waveguide cut off frequency which provide a greater...
This paper, investigates a compact single band notched Ultrawideband (UWB) monopole antenna with a modified Hilbert Fractal Parasitic Resonator. The antenna exhibits an Ultra Wide bandwidth which ranges from 2.61GHz–13.22GHz. The parasitic resonator results in band notching the frequency range between 7.89–8.83 GHz which is assigned for X-band satellite communication systems. This antenna can be used...
This paper describes a dual band V fractal patch antenna, designed on FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.4 and thickness h = 0.8 mm. The structure resonates at 2.14 GHz (2.11–2.18GHz) and 7.91GHz (7.83–8.47GHz) bands with % bandwidth 3.37 and 8.19 respectively with average gain of about 4 dB. The antenna parameters such as S11 (dB) and radiation pattern are simulated and presented.
