A single loop optoelectronic oscillator is synchronized in the optical domain by an external microwave signal. The system equation of such an oscillator has been derived. Normalized output voltage and frequency are calculated and the steady state output voltage as a function of time is studied. Theoretical results are presented in this short communication.
Optical filter using Optical triple racetrack resonator (OTRR) has been designed in this work using delay line signal processing approach in z-domain and Mason's gain formula. Silicon core with silica cladding having its effective refractive index as 2.379 has been used here as the constituent waveguide material. Based on Vernier principle enhanced free spectral range obtained as much as 23.22 THz...
This correspondence reports a new dual loop optoelectronic oscillator (DLOEO). The DLOEO consists of an injection locked oscillator instead of an RF band pass filter(BPF). In addition to this an external sync signal is injected to the system and locking phenomena of the synchronized system is observed.
