A compact dual-band planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) working in the GPS (1572 MHz), DCS (1800 MHz) and WiMAX (3500 MHz) frequency bands is presented. The antenna based on split-ring (SR) resonators provides 30% and 11% impedance bandwidth performance at the respective bands. Also, the antenna exhibits uniform radiation pattern at both frequency bands.
This paper provides information about a mobile low-profile satellite tracking antenna with dual-band performance and a reconfigurable circularly polarised radiation pattern, realised by Ka-band sub-aperture panels located on a mechanical azimuth positioner. The design and measurement results of a leaky-wave antenna panel, selected for this purpose, as well as a tracking antenna prototype are presented...
We present a dual-band frequency reconfigurable microstrip antenna based on printed split-ring elements for WLAN applications. The printed split-ring resonator elements enable an electrically small design providing single or dual band performance that is tunable using an integrated switch. In addition, the antenna exhibits uniform radiation patterns at both frequency bands.
