CNT emitters were fabricated on a metal mesh by filtrating the aqueous suspensions containing both highly crystalline thin MWCNTs and thick, entangled MWCNTs in sequence. Additionally, we filtrated the Co-Ni metal-organic solution and formed Co-Ni oxide layers on the CNT networks to improve their adhesion and to protect the CNT emitters from being damaged during operation.
