Neural network (NN) based CAD models have been developed for analysis and design of fin-lines. In the analysis phase, the network takes the dimensional parameters of the finline structure as its input and gives the characteristic impedance (Z0) and normalized guided wavelength (b/lambdacf) as its output. Another network, trained for design, takes Z0 along with other dimensions as input and produces...
In this review paper, modern methods, so called the real frequency techniques to design broadband matching network are covered, a design roadmap is given with relevant recommendations. Measured performances of the recently designed and manufactured ultra-wideband matching circuits are outlined for various applications.
This article presents the status of microstrip technology in the State of Orissa (India) over the last decade. It identifies the areas of research, the problems faced by the people involved in this technology and how these problems have been tackled.
In this paper a CAD approach based on ANNs was successfully introduced to determine the parasitic effects occurred in (effective dielectric and characteristics impedance) Coplanar Wave guide (CPW) with upper shielding and conductor backing. ANNs were trained with three learning algorithms to obtain better performance and faster convergence with simpler structure. The best results were obtained with...
An improved CAD formulation is proposed to determine accurate input impedance of rectangular microstrip patches with variable aspect ratio. This paper demonstrate the effect of aspect ratio of rectangular microstrip patch on its input impedance. The computed results have been verified with our own experiments and simulated data showing very close agreement amongst them.
