Femtosecond (~670 fs) fiber-CPA at 1.063 mum is demonstrated using broadband chirped-volume-Bragg-gratings for pulse stretching and compression. 32 W recompressed pulses are achieved corresponding to a 75% compression efficiency.
The carrier-envelope phase of amplified laser pulses was stabilized to 230 mrad by controlling compressor grating separation. This technique can be used to synthesize two amplified laser pulses.
We demonstrated the Mazzler with XPW filter approach to obtain ultrashort pulses with Gaussian shape at the output of the laser system. This scheme can be scaled to higher output energy and sub 10 fs pulses.
