The creation of stories has become an important topic within the field of computer science. Computational methods are helpful to analyze the process of creating stories. Writers spend lots of time managing information such as scenes and characters in order to complete the creation of stories. Although the process of creating stories depends on writers, standardized information is in common. In order to encourage writers to create novels, we propose a creative support system which organizes structure of entire stories. Our research group built the previous system by using two templates based on the narratology; one is for the story structure, the other is for character settings. This paper describes the extended system with four novel functions: creating unlimited profiles of characters, setting undulations of a story, drawing periods of each character appearing, and calculating the sentiment value of each period. Two types experiments were carried out to show the effectiveness of this system. In addition, we confirmed that professional writers can create novels by using this system. From the results, we considered what kinds of templates were useful for users.
