Craft has been booming since the cultural and creative industry was considered as a part of National Development Plan in Taiwan with the coming of experience economy. The withered traditional industries are under transforming. To provide personalized experiences, many operators gave courses in which services customers to experience handmade craft. For each craft experience, it is a uniqueness, customization, and special performance. But, does these customized modes are traceable to use? Whether these models of craft experience reference from another field or not, these issues must to be explored. In order to come straight into the key points of design which influence craft experience, this study analyzed customized modes of craft experience from Performance Theory by extending case study method. In the result, we found a strategy on craft experience that there are four customized modes, such as Type S (S for Standard, Stable, Steady), Type M (M for Material, Medium, Matter), Type P (P for Procedure, Process, Path), and Type D (D for Dynamic, Derive, Deep). These four modes can reinforce (positive or negative) the meaning of those who experience to change the experience intention by controlling material or process. Except the four modes, experience supplier can make customer feel much better about role-changing, emotional-linking, and memory-waking by the decorating of performance environment, activity planning or script and so on.
