A new magnetic resonance wireless power transfer (MRWPT) system is proposed in this paper. The proposed MRWPT has a current source transmitting resonator and a voltage source receiving resonator. Also, a LC compensated half bridge inverter is used for a 6.78MHz power amplifier. The LC compensated half bridge inverter helps electromagnetic interference be suppressed and makes a zero voltage switching of the half bridge inverter MOSFET. Output voltage gain and design consideration of the proposed MRWPT are studied in detail. A 5.5W prototype system is implemented to verify operation and features of the proposed MRWPT. The proposed MRWPT has about 76% efficiency in the full load condition.
