Modeling of the shielding effectiveness of the perforated film electromagnetic screens, depending on their design parameters, was conducted. Samples of the electromagnetic screens based on the perforated metal or metal-dielectric coatings were manufactured. A comprehensive experimental study of the test samples was conducted. The comparative analysis of the experimental and theoretical investigations of the electromagnetic screens was presented. The recommendations for the practical application of the developed electromagnetic film coatings that are transparent in the visible spectral range of the electromagnetic radiation were proposed.
