This paper describes a synthesis of an active bandpass filter based on operational transconductor amplifiers (OTA) using simple CMOS current mirrors. The proposed filter depends on an active inductor that is made from OTA circuits according to the 0.18µm TSMC technology. The inductor presents high quality factor, small chip area and low power consumption. The bandpass filter is centered at 1.18GHz with a bandwidth of 15MHz. simulation results, obtained through PSPICE software, show excellent performances in terms of S11 and S21 responses.
