The article describes the issues of stability research of the isolated electric power systems (EPS) with a wind-diesel hybrid power stations (WDHPS). One of the problems associated with the operation of such systems is synchronization of diverse energy sources. Incorrect choice of operating mode may lead to loss of system stability and, thus, to power interruption. The authors carried out analysis of the schematic solutions for WDHPS designing. The criteria and algorithm of assessing the stability of the isolated EPS with the WDHPS are provided. A computer model designed for processing algorithm and study of the isolated EPS with the DC bus WDHPS stability is described. The results of experimental studies are presented.
