Traditional chemical approach of disinfection mostly used in agricultural industry has several disadvantages such as low ecologic quality, probability of poisoning and chronic diseases cause. This paper discusses advantages and disadvantages of ozonization method as a mean of disinfecting and deodorizing. We showed the possible usage of ozone in agricultural industry and the required ozone concentration for different technological processes. In addition, we showed the results of research of influence of the electro-filtration installation with increased generation of ozone on parameters of air environment of the incubator cabinet and percentage of the output of healthy chickens, which were held in the hatchery at Chelyabinsk poultry farm. The research has shown that the usage of this device helps to reach the desired concentration of ozone in the air environment of the incubator cabinet. In addition, the air is cleaned from dust particles and microorganisms with a higher efficiency. The efficiency of ozone disinfection appeared to be higher comparing with formaldehyde disinfection. The research has determined that the usage of this device authentically improves the hatchability percentage of healthy chickens.
