This paper presents report on how to implement The Axis Rotation Fast Decoupled Load Flow (ARFDLF) method in the distribution systems. ARFDLF was effective to enhance the convergence of the Fast Decoupled Load Flow (FDLF) method when analyzing a power system with high R/X ratio and it is applied for distribution systems. Distribution systems have some features that challenge the application of FDLF. The most problematics are the high R/X and combined single and three-phase lines, distributed and delta-connected loads and the regulators that are very well represented by IEEE standard distribution networks. We show that ARFDLF can be implemented to overcome those hurdles effectively.
