With the increasing demand of beef meat, it was found that several butchers in the market sometimes do the mixing of flesh meat between beef and pork. The price of beef meat is much more expensive than pork that also triggers such practices. It is of course very detrimental to consumers, especially for Moslems who are forbid to eat pork. Development of software technology, such as in mobile application in the field of digital image processing allows the processing of two-dimensional images using a computer processing with the added element of artificial intelligence. In this study, a digital image processing was developed using textural analysis combined with Neural Network to make a decision. The method was then applied to a smart phone to differentiate flesh meat between beef and pork as well as the mixing meat as an application that works in real-time. The application was tested on the smart phone with Android version 2.1 Éclair (API Level 7).Our result showed the successful rate of more than 89% in identifying the correct meat (89.34% for beef and 89.67 for pork). The application is really helpful to solve the problem to differentiate flash meat between beef and pork.
