In this work, we consider the transmission of confidential message through independent and identically distributed generalized-K fading single-input multiple-output (SIMO) channels in the presence of an eavesdropper. The security performance of SIMO generalized-K systems are investigated using a mixture gamma (MG) distribution, and the analytical expressions for the average secrecy capacity (ASC) and the secure outage probability (SOP) of SIMO systems are derived. Numerical results are presented and verified via Monte-Carlo simulations.
