This paper presents a fair and non-discriminatory method in losses charge allocation. Traditionally, the method of allocating the charge to the consumer (generators and loads) is widely based on bilateral contract or postage stamp methods. Recently, the introduction of power tracing in searching the true sense of losses allocation in the real system has been implemented. However, this method requires for matrix inversion and several assumptions in which often failed to give a promising and reliable results. Hence, this paper employs the Artificial Intelligence (AI) based optimization method for performing power tracing, by means of hybrid algorithm; the Ant Colony Pollinated-Flower Algorithm (ACP-FA). Experiment on IEEE 30-bus system under critical condition together with comparative studies has proven the effectiveness of the meta-heuristic method by yielding to transparency of results.
