The present work is devoted to preparation of gold-copper and silver-cobalt bimetallic nanoparticles deposited on inorganic supporters followed by their use in hydrogen peroxide decomposition. The bimetallic nanoparticles of Au/Cu and Ag/Co were synthesized by hydrothermal and one-pot method in the presence of stabilizing agent (hydrophilic polymers) and reducing agent — NaBH4. The bimetallic nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, DLS, and TEM techniques. The catalytic activity of bimetallic nanoparticles was investigated with respect to decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. The catalytic activity of bimetallic catalysts in decomposition of hydrogen peroxide is high enough to produce the molecular oxygen for catalytic oxidation of hydrocarbons to key products.
