Due to the high-efficiency and high-frequency of bridgeless power factor correction (PFC) converter, it gets widely used in many areas, such as IT service power supplies, aerospace power supplies and so on. Meanwhile it concludes many passive components, like two boost inductors, two common-mode (CM) inductors, one differential mode (DM) inductor, two CM capacitors and one DM capacitor, which occupy significant space in power supply. In this paper, an integrated unit is proposed for these passive components to further increase the power density bridgeless PFC converter with the planar printed circuit board (PCB) integration technique. Based on the analysis of fluxes of two boost inductors and two CM inductors, two boost inductors and the electro-magnetic interference (EMI) filter can work well and decouple each other. This paper provides the design of the proposed integrated unit, and presents the simulation results as well.
